Frequently Asked Questions
What are spam trigger words?
Words and phrases often used in spam, such as "act now", "100% free" or "you are a winner". Using many of them can make filters and readers distrust your email.
Will one spam word send my email to spam?
Usually not. Modern filters look at sender reputation, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), engagement and content together. Many trigger words plus other bad signals is the real risk.
Is the word "free" always bad?
No. "Free demo class" in a normal sentence is fine. "100% FREE!!!" in the subject looks like spam.
Why is my email going to the Promotions tab?
Gmail puts marketing emails there by design. It is not spam. Plain, personal-looking emails are more likely to land in Primary.
Is my email text stored?
No. The check runs in your browser; nothing is sent to our server.
Is this spam words checker free?
Yes. It is free and needs no login.
