CTR is the share of people who clicked after seeing your ad, email or search result. It shows how appealing your headline and offer are.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you calculate CTR?
CTR = (clicks ÷ impressions) × 100. For example, 250 clicks from 10,000 impressions is a 2.5% CTR.
What is a good CTR?
It depends on the platform. Search ads and top Google results usually get much higher CTR than display or social ads. Compare against your own past results.
Where do I find my CTR in Google Search Console?
Open the Performance report and turn on Average CTR. It shows CTR for each query and page.
Does CTR affect Google Ads costs?
Yes. Expected CTR is part of Quality Score, and a better Quality Score can lower your cost per click.
Can CTR be more than 100%?
No. If it shows over 100%, clicks were counted differently from impressions, so check your data.
